is the Price?
The price for all tours to
Greece and Turkey is $150
per day (including the day you arrive
and the day you leave). The Egypt tour is $200 per day.What is Included? Included items are hotels, all breakfasts, half the dinners, transportation (except air and supplements for the First-Class overnight ship between Athens and Crete and the cruise ship in Egypt), all admissions to museums and archaeological sites, and guide services. All meals are included on the Turkish yacht and the Egyptian cruise ship. What is Not Included? Not included are lunches and half the dinners. Are There Any Supplemental Costs? Yes, supplemental costs are $30/night for a single room, $110 each for domestic flights in Turkey tours (Athens-Samos, Dalaman-Istanbul, Istanbul-Antalya), $65 per day for travel by private yacht in Turkey and cruise ship in Egypt, and $200 for First-Class overnight ship round-trip between Athens and Crete. In individual itineraries flights are marked (A), days on the yacht are marked (Y), and the ship to and from Crete is marked (S). GREECE IN JANUARY 14 days for $2100 Jan 3-16, 2006 We'll leave Athens Jan 4 for Delfi (the Oracle of Apollo) and stay overnight. On Jan 5 we'll visit the Oracle of Zeus on the way to Metsovo, a mountain village (and ski resort) east of Ioannina, high in the Pindos Mountains. On Jan 7 we'll go to Meteora, a group of monasteries perched on top of cliffs, and then to the port of Volos. On Jan 8 we'll spend the day exploring the villages of Mount Pelion above Volos. We'll go to Athens for the 9th and 10th to see the Akropolis, Agora, and National Museum. On the 11th we'll drive to Nafplion and visit Eleusis, Corinth, Mycenae, and Argos. On the 13th we'll see the nearby island Spetses.
